Why are bearings with a contact angle (e.g. TRBs, ACBBs, ...) axially loaded although a pure radial load is applied on the arrangement ?

Description:

In the attached models an external radial load is applied on a shaft with a TRB arrangement (2 TRBs in back-to-back arrangement). 

The models will demonstrate and explain the effect on the resulting bearing loads, when bearings with a contact angle (TRBs, ACBBs, ...) are radially loaded.

A detailed explanation can be found in the report of the corresponding model.
